Bests

Once in awhile I get a good forward on hotmail, this was one of them (thanks kal)

One friend is needed when you're going through things with your school/work.
Another friend is needed when you're going through things with your Mom.

Another friend who will tell you to suck it up when you're being a baby.
Another when you need someone to hold your hair back after a night of bad decisions.
Another friend who will be your alibi for your parents.
And another to steal, laugh, joke, or do 'just because' things with.

One friend will say, 'Let's cry together,'
Another, 'Let's fight together,'
Another, 'Let's walk away together,'
Another, 'Let's do it again.'

One friend will meet your spiritual need,
Another - whatever your fetish,
Another - your love for movies,
Another will be with you in your season of confusion,
Another will be your clarifier,
Another the wind beneath your wings.

But whatever their assignment in your life,
On whatever the occasion,
On whatever the day,
Or wherever you need them to meet you with their gym shoes on and hair pulled back,
Or to hold you back from making a complete fool of yourself ...
Those are your best friends.

It may all be wrapped up in one woman.
But for many, it's wrapped up in several.
One - from 7th grade,
One - from high school,
Several - from the college years,
A couple - from old jobs.
On some days - your Mother,
On some days - your neighbour,
On others - your sisters,
And on some days - your daughters."

If I could have 8 maid of honours I would, but since I can't I probably won't even have one (unless it's family)

I'm lucky to have
YOU to keep me grounded
YOU to go boy crazy with
YOU to kick back, relax, and enjoy life with
YOU to vent and go to for advice
YOU to make fun of and get made of with
YOU to be level headed and understanding with
YOU to try to keep my morals intact
YOU to cry with and keep me sane

Some of you are there to play sports with...some to be there when things get really crappy...some when I need a picker upper...some to walk our dogs with =)...some to go to the beach with...some to cook and eat all the time...

Just to make it clear, you're all THE best friends ever.
It's up to you to figure out which "YOU" you are in that list up there...haha
